We got a new manager at Stop & Shop
a couple days ago so when I said bye to him, it didn’t really mean all that much to him and was more of a “Hi, nice to meet you! Oh, this is your last day?” than a final closure thing.
I told him that I was going to college but I’d be back in the summer.
He asked where I was going to school. I said UMass Amherst.
He smiled and said “Hey! That’s where I went!”
